From rough sketches and boards with shorter time constraints, to more detailed drawings and key frames; I can adapt my style to suit the needs of the project, while always aiming for clarity and interesting visual narratives. Browse below for a mixed selection of my work, or filter through to find more specific samples.
Give me your script or sequence and I can generate ideas of how to best tell the narrative visually and come up with ideas for compesition, shots and blocking.
Likewise, if you have a shot list or existing ideas for shots I can develop them further and turn them into a comprehensive set of storyboards.
Artwork Development Process
Beginning with initial loose thumbnail sketches to flesh out ideas, I essentially create a ‘skeleton frame’, to which I build upon whilst developing ideas.
As the ideas become more finalised, I then go on to tidying up the sketches into line work
Finalising the Artwork
Before adding the finishing touches of completed storyboards. I adapt the style and level of finish of the boards to aim for the highest quality of work within the time constraints of the project.
